| Personal Riding Accomplishments: |
Completing an Iron Butt checked an item off my Bucket List. Seeing the circus and cultural phenomenon of Sturgis is up there. Riding Bear Tooth Pass and along the Rio Grande. |
| MSF Accomplishments: |
Completing the MSF RiderCoach training program under the watchful care of some talented chiefs. Developing as a Rider Coach with the mentorship of some super coaches...from all of which I've learned. And, the opportunity to receive the trust of and work with so many who want to become better riders. |
| Type of Motorcycling you enjoy: |
Sport Touring! I love the long trips. And, at the same time can wash away a week of aggravation in a Sunday afternoon, one-hour run. |
| Favorite Stretch of Road: |
The ride from the west end of Big Bend National Park (Lajitas) to Presidio, Texas is magical. Deal's Gap and the Cherohola Skyway. For a leasurely run, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Natchez Trace. And, from my home state, Elk River road (Rt. 119) WV. |
| Why
Did You Become a Rider Coach: |
After having completed MSF courses as a student, I realized how much I a) had improved my skill level and b) was impressed with the courses. I became a RiderCoach because I believe in the program. I enjoy the opportunity to share the sport with others and assist those who have made the choice to be better, safer riders. And, from a selfish side, I find it keeps my skills sharp. |
